Born and raised in Bulgaria, a country on the crossroads of ancient cultures, Elena Mladjova has been exposed to diverse artistic influences throughout her life.
After graduating from the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Sofia, she went on to an intensive and rewarding architectural practice, ranging over a variety of building-type designs, interior design, rendering, and architectural research. She has implemented innovative technologies through experimental design and her projects have won awards in national and international design competitions. |

Having obtained a formal training in fine art and sculpture in her studies, upon relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, she founded a Graphic Design company which specializes in business identity, logo and advertising design.
Elena’s early fascination with rocks and crystals evolved into a lifelong passion that only intensified amid the rich cultural environment of the Bay Area. This passion found an artistic outlet in the creation of intriguing combinations of natural materials: semi-precious stones, pearls, corals, Sterling and Fine Silver. Her creations are one-of-a-kind pieces that come in a sparkling array of shapes, colors, and textures, crafted in complex design structures with unexpected creative impact. They are often multi-functional, and can be worn in more than one way and in different combinations. Her work combines subtle ethnic flairs with a classic and timeless composition refracted through her artistic sensibility.
